What is a global issue?
The term “global issues” refers to issues that have an impact at the national and regional level, but which also reach beyond national frontiers and can only be addressed with the coordination of more than one country’s efforts. The next documentary we are going to watch also explores media and propaganda. While Control Room focuses on Al Jeezera and the Iraqi invasion and the bias of Al Jeezera and the American military, Outfoxed focuses on Fox News and its conservative stance and its bias because of this.
You will be doing the same sort of research on Fox News as you did with Al Jeezera.
1. Wikipediea http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fox_News_Channel
2. Fox News Online http://www.foxnews.com/
3. Watch Fox News either online or on your tv!

In preparation for watching Control Room it is important to understand a few things about the station Al Jazeera.
For pre-search go to Wikipedia and read what is written about the station.
While we will be watching about the Arabic side of Al Jazeera, it is important to get a feel for their English side as well. You can explore that at this link: Al Jazeera
Of course, the best way to find out about Al Jazeera is to watch it. Go through your TV channels at home and see if you have it. If you do, watch it for a bit.
Here are the notes on propaganda:
